Sorry for being a slacker!
Hi Everyone!!!!
I have been notified by various sources (i.e. friends and family) that our blog is lacking in the updates department. Be patient as our family is experiencing technical difficulties...just minor, but nonetheless it has caused us to slack in providing wonderful pictures.

Morgan's ballerina dress.
Hello. I was just taking a look at our blog and noticed that Morgan is in the same dress for many of the posts. Yes...she LOVES her pink ballerina dress. It has the best twirling capabilities. I'm thinking I should get her another one in a different color! I'm sure I have some pictures of her without "the pink twirly dress".

Harrison stuff
I realized that I usually post pictures, but that's about it. So here is some dialogue to keep everyone up-to-date with us. Well, the big news lately is Gavin going to kindergarten. He's doing well, but does not want to walk into class by himself and he always tells me before I leave to not be late in picking him up. We are considered "walkers" because we live only about 4 blocks from school. I've been trying to take advantage of the extra exercise by walking him to and from school. Morgan said yesterday on our way to pick him up, "mommy my legs are struggling, could you hold me?" Hee, Hee! Morgan is loving the alone time with me and I'm trying to not take advantage of it and run a bunch of errands during that time. Brad is doing well and continues to love his job. It was a little crazy last weekend with the first home USU football game getting underway, but he made it. I'm doing great and enjoying the busy and quiet times of being a mom. The weather has been incredible...high 70's and low 80's with plenty of sunshine. Tomorrow Brad is hiking at 4:30am to get his hunting route planned for when Denny (Brad's Dad) and Jody (Brad's mom) come out after their Italy trip. Actually, only for Denny...I don't think Jody is much of a hunter...so I'll have to keep her busy with shopping and other fun stuff with the kiddos. It's always nice when we can plan for family and friends to visit...so those of you in Michigan-we'd love to have ya.

Yummy meal with REAL garden cherry tomatoes!
This is a delicious meal I made from our friend's garden (The Stull's). I got the recipe from Real Simple August 2008. It's a one pot meal...here it is if you'd like.
Chicken Cutlets with Tomato Saute'
Serves 4
1 1/2 lbs. small chicken cutlets (8 to 12)
Kosher salt and pepper
2 T. olive oil
1 1/2 pints grape or cherry tomatoes
3/4 cup dry white wine (such as Sauvingnon Blanc)
4 scallions, sliced
2 T. fresh tarragon leaves, chopped
- Season the chicken with 1/2 t. salt and 1/2 t. pepper. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Working in 2 batches, cook the chicken until browned and cooked through, 2 to 3 minutes per side; transfer to plates.
- Add the tomatoes to the skillet and cook over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, until they begin to burst, 2 to 3 minutes.
- Add the wine and simmer until the liquid is reduced by half, 2 to 3 minutes. Stir in the scallions and tarragon and serve with the chicken.
Enjoy!

Saying Goodbye...
Saying good-bye is never easy. I feel so blessed to have had an opportunity to visit with not only my family, but Brad's as well! Gavin and Morgan still talk about the fun times with cousins, grandparents, aunts and uncles. We love you all so much and appreciate the time and efforts everyone took during the three weeks we visited. Thank you!
